Job description

Job Title: Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (PD RN)
Location: Hermiston, OR
Duration: 13-week contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (dependent on patient census)
Summary:

As a Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (PD RN), you will educate patients on performing dialysis at home and take responsibility for their ongoing care to ensure treatments stay on track.
This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, impacting patients' lives daily.
No prior dialysis experience is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Educate patients on administering their own dialysis and empower them to manage their health independently.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting, applying core nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and implement complete care plans.
  • Multitask by managing patient charts, working with physicians, handling medications, and responding to supplier requests.
Required Skills:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent dialysis experience in Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) within the last 2 years.
  • Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in the state of residence.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
Certifications & Licenses:
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or a three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for a nursing degree.
