We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Periscope Spine and Joint Rehab Center in Bakersfield, California. This full-time position is ideal for an individual eager to contribute significantly to patient recovery by providing comprehensive therapeutic services in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Our facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment within a spacious 5,000 square feet office designed for outpatient therapy. We cater primarily to individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on personalized care while fostering a supportive and innovative treatment environment.

Located in the heart of Bakersfield, our rehab center provides an onsite work setting that promotes collaboration among staff and optimal patient interaction. You will work alongside a team of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), engaging in a synergistic approach to patient care. Our goal-oriented work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, supports a healthy work-life balance while ensuring consistent team collaboration.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and treatment objectives, ensuring an individualized care approach.
• Manage a consistent workload with an efficient scheduling model of one patient every hour, allowing dedicated time for focused therapy sessions.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient’s specific requirements.
• Engage patients with motivational support throughout their treatment process to enhance their adherence and drive towards maximizing functional abilities.
• Promote alternative solutions to medication and invasive procedures by emphasizing therapeutic interventions that reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Document all treatment services and progression thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR) to maintain compliance and support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care, contributing to improved treatment outcomes.

Your expertise in physical therapy will be vital in addressing diverse conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, back pain, joint issues, and mobility limitations, enabling patients to safely return to their desired activities.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification is required to provide evidence of foundational knowledge.
• Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in California and maintain a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation.
• Knowledge of manual therapy techniques along with the capability to create and guide effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methods and a commitment to ongoing education in the field of physical therapy.
• Experience in personalizing fitness and wellness programs that promote patient engagement and holistic care approaches.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
