SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for assisting staff Perfusionists with the setup, priming, and maintenance of the heart-lung machine and ECMO circuit. Also includes; intra-aortic balloon pump management, cell saver management, heparin/anticoagulation monitoring and blood gas analysis of cardiothoracic patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Certification as a Paramedic, or equivalent medical background
  • Two (2) years years of relevant experience.
