Position : Snowflake Architect - Manufacturing industry Exp
Location : Milwaukee, WI (Onsite)
Term : C2C/W2/Full Time Role
Duration : Long Term
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Snowflake architectures.
  • Develop enterprise data warehouse and data lake solutions on Snowflake.
  • Lead migration from legacy databases/data warehouses to Snowflake.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt, Airflow, Matillion, or Informatica.
  • Implement Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and Secure Data Sharing.
  • Optimize query performance, warehouse sizing, clustering, and cost management.
  • Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Define security frameworks including RBAC, masking policies, encryption, and governance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams.
  • Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and best practices.
  • Support CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct architecture/design reviews.

Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and administration.
  • Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Experience with Python, PySpark, or Snowpark.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Matillion, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • SnowPro Certifications preferred.
  • Experience in Data Lakehouse architecture.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML integration with Snowflake is an added advantage.

Experience Required
  • 8+ years in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
