About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated engineer to join our team focused on SSD performance testing and data analysis. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering teams to design, develop, execute the test plans and analyze the SSD and its associated system performance to improve our storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Attain and share the industry's up-to-date SSD performance requirements.
    • Analyze the impact of key performance contributing components/algorithms.
    • Analyze SSD performance data using concepts, tools and custom scripts.
    • Prepare reports and make presentations.
  • Test Plan Design/Development:
    • Design/Develop the test plans for SSD performance requirements.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product specifications and testing criteria.
  • Test Execution and Management:
    • Execute test plans and collect results using test management tools.
    • Identify and document issues, bugs, and areas for improvement.
    • Update and maintain test plans, procedures, results and documentation.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and product management.
    • Participate in meetings and provide input by the analysis results.

Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience on SSD technologies for 2+ years.
    • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Good team player

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SSD architecture and performance knowledge is a plus
  • Hands-on experience on product development with Firmware/Software area is a plus.

COMPENSATION: $90,000-$100,000/yr
