Job description

Job Description BAE Systems Force Development Evaluation (FDE) team is looking for a motivated Project Manager to support the Air Force Global Strike Command's (AFGSC) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) operational test launch program. What is FDE? The FDE team supports Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) and Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) to monitor and assess the current performance and accuracy of the Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM. The team supports Operational Test Launch activities such as pre-flight mission planning, launch support, post-flight performance and accuracy analysis, and development of accuracy nuclear planning factors. The team also leverages its expertise to support assessment efforts for the upcoming Sentinel ICBM. This role offers a unique opportunity to support and participate in an active test launch program with a team of subject matter experts. The Operational Flight Test Project Manager will be directly integrated with the Air Force Global Strike Command Operations, Test and Evaluations Division, and be responsible for planning and execution of all Minuteman III ICBM operational test launch activities. They will perform the following FDE technical tasks: * Plan and coordinate with internal and external agencies/stakeholders and develop testing schedules to meet NNSA and AFGSC Force Development Evaluation test requirements * Coordinate with Western Range and associated ranges to meet testing timelines and ensure resource availability * Prepare Briefing Materials, schedule, plan, coordinate, and participate in pre-flight Planning Meetings and post-flight reviews and meetings * Attend all Program Officer Meetings and Program Officer Group meetings for associated warheads * Support all special tests as the launch Subject Matter Expert as required * Attend all Minuteman III Test Working Group Meetings and all other meetings pertaining to the MMIII life extension programs * Provide technical expertise to modernization programs (ie. Sentinel and MMIII future capabilities) * You will assist in the development of and or revision of the MM III Program Requirements Document and five year forecast on behalf of AFGSC, coordinating with all ranges and stakeholders involved in the OTL program * Support AFGSC execution of Operational Test Launch missions at associated ranges #ASFS Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's Degree and 8 years Project Management work experience or equivalent experience * Four (4) years of ICBM test experience desired * Minimum TOP SECRET Security Clearance level w/ability to obtain SCI * Must be able to work as a team along military professionals and senior leaders * Must be able to navigate typical Microsoft programs (ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Must be organized and able to work/track multiple projects simultaneously * Technical writing, presentation, and communication skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * TS/SCI Clearance * Program Management Certification * Air Force ICBM TOP Hand experience * Air Force ICBM Maintenance/Operations experience * Air Force Headquarters Staff (NAF or Command) Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $108787 - $184937 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
