As a Shop Technician, you will..

Deliver World-Class Customer Experiences

  • Deliver quality service to customers by executing the Strickland Brothers Experience in each role (Greeter, Hood, Pit).
  • Greet customers and safely guide vehicles into the service bay.
  • Communicate clearly with customers throughout the service and review completed work.
  • Provide recommendations on maintenance services and support service presentations.
  • Use company systems to process fleet services and support smooth daily shop operations.

Hands-On Service Work (Greeter, Hood, Pit)

  • Perform oil changes and other services while following company procedures.
  • Execute technician duties across Greeter, Hood, and Pit roles as trained.
  • Complete required safety checks and verify service accuracy with team members.
  • Follow proper callouts and communication to ensure safe and efficient service flow.

Safety & Teamwork

  • Follow all safety procedures and use proper tools and equipment
  • Help identify vehicle concerns and communicate them to the team
  • Work together with your team to maintain a safe, efficient shop
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Complete opening and closing duties.
  • Hold road signs and perform other tasks as needed.
  • Support team workflow by assisting in different roles based on business needs.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Training & Development

  • Participate in hands-on training and complete required certifications.
  • Continuously develop skills across all service positions.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license required. (NC & TX)
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills or the ability to quickly learn company systems.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an automotive service environment.
  • Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary.
