Role Overview

The Planning and Performance Manager is responsible for leading the execution and continuous improvement of project controls reporting and labor management systems across the organization. This role oversees a team of Project Controls Analysts and serves as the functional owner of project performance reporting and labor hour management within Oracle Primavera P6 (including P6 Team Member). The manager ensures the integrity, standardization, and alignment of labor, cost, and schedule data to support accurate forecasting, earned value performance, and executive decision-making. The position also leads efforts, collaborates with Project Management, Supply Chain, Technical Field Advisors (TFA), Finance, Engineering, and Scheduling to provide strategic oversight to ensure efficiencies.

  • Analyze performance data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights into leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on forecasting and improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven recommendations and process enhancements.
  • Ensure alignment between strategy and execution through performance reviews.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction, or Data Analytics from college or university and 4-6 Years extensive direct experience in project cost control and reporting with relevant EPC experience and exposure to project accounting, risk analysis and management, contracts/commercial documentation understanding is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and data interpretation skills related to engineering problem solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, electronic mail required. Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 and Power BI is desired.
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
