On Time Performance Monitor - OTP Monitor
Transdev is seeking an On-Time Performance Monitor ** ** who is a valued member of the team and is responsible for optimizing use and monitoring of our Tracking and GPS System to maximize on-time performance and meet customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze scheduled trip real-time performance utilizing CAD/AVL software.
  • Match daily roll-out with assignments in CAD/AVLto ensure all operators are signed in correctly.
  • Analyze routes real-time performance on routes to minimize bunching.
  • Coordinate with Dispatchers when problems arise to come to a quick and adequate solution.
  • Monitor daily traffic trends utilizing available websites and news reports.
  • Research daily route status and correct any issues, incorrect vehicles, and/or assigned trips in the system.
  • Daily monitoring of CAD/AVL system to ensure it is operating correctly and submit reports to Operations Manager.
  • Submit other reports as assigned.
  • Monitor time exceptions of operations for validity and report to Technology/Operations Manager.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to drive out to the routes to check systems.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of the surrounding area preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments.
  • Basic computer skills and ability operate Microsoft Office programming.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and working coordination with other departments is critical.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have excellent customer services skills.

Work Environment:
This position requires working in an office setting as well as in the field to monitor and support bus operations.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• May require responding to emergencies or service disruptions outside of regular business hours.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
  • Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
  • Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
