This diverse team of professionals specializes in enhancing the enterprise value of organizations through operational and business improvement.   • Gather and analyze complex data to determine potential challenges in an organization. Your role will require you to understand various disciplines in business including operations, supply chain, some finance and accounting, human resources.
  • Develop solutions to help organizations improve their productivity and profitability
  • Propose and assist in implementing process changes using Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology
  • Implement solutions after they are designed, must be a good change management agent and good at communicating to diverse groups of people
  • Develop positive working relationships with clients at the peer and management level
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators
  • Assist in delivery of consulting services such as strategic planning, business planning, feasibility studies, process improvement, performance improvement, organizational effectiveness and analytical studies, working at times independently and as part of a project team
  • Propose/create optimal planning, execution and reporting tools
  • Coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders consistent with project plans
  • Perform analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data, including financial data, and present information in a clear, concise manner
  • Collaborate with clients to develop a management operating system to support operational excellence
  • Support the design, development, formatting and proofreading of high-quality professional reports, proposals and correspondence
  • Provide a consistent, high level of client service based on client needs, including response to requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner
  • Assist in and support ongoing improvements in project methods and development of technical knowledge
  • Assist in promotion of MNP Consulting through the support and development of presentations, articles, workshops or participating in community activities
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

  • An undergraduate degree in business, economics, or other related field
  • Involvement in competitive sports, music or the arts is an asset.
  • A Lean Six Sigma certification is considered an asset
  • Comfortable with ambiguous situations and solving challenges that are not straight forward.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly analyze a situation and see opportunities to improve it
  • Passionate about bringing out the full potential of individuals and organizations
  • Motivated by generating tangible organizational and financial gains for our clients
  • Flexibility to work at client sites 50 to 75% of the time on projects within Ontario. Must have the ability to drive to client sites outside of public transit routes.
  • Flexibility to travel up to a maximum of 20% within Ontario or Canada
