Job description

Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you've come to the right place!
E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.
We're intentional, we're unapologetically curious and we're 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life.
What is the role?
The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for the planning, delivery, and commissioning of facility upgrade, renovation, and expansion projects. This role integrates EHS requirements, security design standards, and maintainability considerations into project execution, while managing project budgets, schedules, contractor performance, and documentation. The Facilities Project Manager ensures all capital projects are delivered in compliance with governance standards and organizational design principles.
What you will do
  • Leadership Oversight & Governance: Ensures all facility projects comply with established governance standards, design principles, and Management of Change (MOC) requirements.
  • Facilities Management: Delivers facility upgrades, renovations, and expansion projects from design development through construction and final handover.
  • Maintenance & Reliability: Coordinates equipment installation and structured handoff to maintenance operations, ensuring maintainability is addressed during design and construction phases.
  • Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S): Integrates EHS requirements into project design and construction execution, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
  • Physical Security & Site Access: Delivers physical security system installations and infrastructure upgrades as components of capital project scopes.
  • Contractor & Vendor Oversight: Incorporates operational resilience requirements into facility project scope; manages contractor quality, safety compliance, and schedule performance.
  • Emergency Management & Business Continuity: Incorporates resilience and business continuity requirements into facility project designs, including emergency system provisions.
  • Capital Projects & Engineering Support: Leads all phases of project delivery including design development, construction management, system testing, and commissioning.
  • Compliance, Risk & Audit Management: Ensures project documentation, permit compliance, and regulatory approvals are maintained throughout all project phases.
  • Training & Competency Management: Coordinates project-specific training requirements for operations and maintenance personnel prior to system handover.
  • Financial & Resource Management: Controls project budgets and forecasts; manages cost tracking, change order approval, and expenditure reporting against approved appropriations.
  • Performance Management & Continuous Improvement: Continuously improves project delivery performance by tracking schedule adherence, budget accuracy, and post-project lessons learned.
  • Leadership & People Management: Leads project teams including internal resources, design consultants, and construction contractors throughout the full project lifecycle.

Why you're the right candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience in facilities construction, renovation, or capital infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6) and budget management.
  • Working knowledge of construction safety regulations, MOC processes, and commissioning protocols.
  • Experience coordinating multi-trade contractors and managing subcontractor compliance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.

Additional experience we'd like to see

  • Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) and facilities commissioning requirements.
