About the role

The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Organizational Effectiveness/Performance Improvement Analyst to join our Organizational Effectiveness team in Columbia, South Carolina. The Organizational Effectiveness/Performance Improvement Analyst drives measurable improvements in organizational and operational performance by analyzing processes, human performance, and business data. This role partners with leadership and staff across departments to identify performance gaps, facilitate improvement initiatives, and build a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct organizational and performance improvement analyses to identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend corrective strategies.
  • Facilitate process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Human Performance) in partnership with department leaders and staff.
  • Leverage data analytics platforms and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to build and maintain performance metrics dashboards that track improvement initiative progress and provide real-time insight to leadership.
  • Identify and implement technology-enabled solutions, including AI-powered data analysis and process automation tools, to streamline performance assessments, reduce manual reporting effort, and accelerate the identification of performance gaps and trends.
  • Analyze operational, human performance, and business data to identify trends, causal factors, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to design, implement, and monitor organizational effectiveness initiatives and metrics.
  • Develop and deliver training on performance improvement tools, methodologies, and human performance standards.
  • Support change management efforts associated with process, structural, or cultural improvement initiatives.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, performance improvement, process improvement, or related operational role.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting root cause analyses and developing corrective action strategies that led to measurable performance improvements.
  • Proven ability to analyze operational and business data to identify trends, causal factors, and improvement opportunities.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Human Performance) from scoping through implementation.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification or Human Performance Improvement (HPI) training preferred

Estimated Starting Salary Range

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $121,000 - $143,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis.  The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
