This is an on-site position based at our Moon Township, PA facility with approximately 25% travel. This role provides technical leadership, drives product innovation, and oversees engineering execution across new product development, design maintenance, technology exploration, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Engineering Team Leadership: Build capabilities, mentor talent, foster a digital mindset, and grow expertise in industrial breaker design, testing, modeling, and standards.Cross functional Product Design: Set goals, manage priorities, track performance metrics, and ensure alignment with divisional engineering strategy.Oversee NPD: From concept and requirements through design, qualification, validation, and manufacturing transferโ€”ensuring cost effective, manufacturable solutions using Eatonโ€™s PROLaunch process.Product Line Performance: Provide engineering expertise to sustain production and customer applications, resolve product issues, and ensure compliance with certifications and industry standards.Technical Documentation: Oversee creation and maintenance of drawings, BOMs, specifications, test procedures, DFMEAs, and product guides.Product Technology Development: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to influence product strategy.
