Job Summary:
CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AIâ„¢, providing a platform that enables innovators to build and scale AI confidently. The GPU Performance Engineer will focus on improving the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of systems that power CoreWeave's infrastructure validation and performance testing, collaborating with various teams to enhance their GPU performance testing platform.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain solutions to problems of scale for testing and validation of CoreWeave's global infrastructure
• Develop and improve performance tests and automation workflows to expand hardware validation across the CoreWeave fleet
• Troubleshoot and maintain Kubernetes custom controllers and operators that automate infrastructure testing
• Adapt and extend open source tooling to enhance visibility into system metrics, performance, and health
• Participate in an on-call rotation
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2–5 years of software engineering experience
• Competency in Go and/or Python software development
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at production scale
Preferred:
• Experience building backend services
• Experience testing hardware at scale
• HPC experience
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and training/inference
