The Role
 
Wpromote is looking for an ambitious, experienced, and self-motivated Manager, Performance Creative to join our growing Performance Creative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the fast-paced environment of an agency and is passionate about developing high-performing creative across a variety of digital channels alongside a collaborative and innovative team. Reporting to an Associate Director, this individual will own the development and execution of performance-driven creative across a portfolio of clients, partnering closely with Digital and Motion Designers as well as internal paid media teams.
 
As a Manager, Performance Creative, you will help shape creative strategy through data-informed testing, iteration, and scalable concepts designed to drive measurable growth across the funnel. This role extends beyond asset creation, requiring a strong understanding of channel dynamics, testing frameworks, and client KPIs to ensure creative performance aligns with broader business objectives.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $75,000 - $85,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state's salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
 
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions
**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!

You Will Be
  • Owning the strategy, direction, and delivery of performance-driven creative across a book of business ranging from 2-5 clients, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and channel objectives
  • Translating performance data into clear creative direction, including testing roadmaps, hypotheses, and iteration plans
  • Developing recurring static and video briefs grounded in platform best practices and performance insights. Inclusive of performance-driven messaging, hooks, headlines, and ad copy tailored to platform behavior, audience insights, and campaign objectives
  • Partnering closely with Media teams to align on testing strategy, scaling opportunities, and performance optimization
  • Collaborating with Design and Production to bring concepts to life, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Analyzing creative performance across platforms and synthesize learnings into actionable insights and next steps
  • Applying a strong understanding of platform dynamics (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Programmatic) to inform creative strategy
  • Supporting client communication by presenting creative concepts, performance insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Contributing to the development of creative testing frameworks, best practices, and ways of working across accounts
  • Identifying opportunities to improve creative efficiency through tools, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Traveling occasionally to visit clients, team meetings, and/or events. Likely 1-3 times/year 
You Must Have
  • 3+ years of experience in performance creative, paid social, or a related field, preferably within an agency environment
  • 2+ years of experience owning client relationships and delivering creative tied to performance outcomes
  • A strong understanding of how creative and media work together, with experience partnering with media teams on testing, scaling, and optimization strategies
  • Experience translating performance data into actionable creative direction, taxonomy, testing hypotheses, and iteration plans
  • Working knowledge of paid media platforms, especially Meta Ads Manager, with familiarity across TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, and emerging channels
  • Strong creative and performance marketing instincts, with the ability to develop and iterate on messaging, hooks, headlines, and ad copy that resonate across audiences, platforms, and funnel stages to drive engagement and conversion
  • Ability to identify which creative concepts to scale, iterate on, or pivot from based on performance insights
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience managing multiple timelines, deliverables, and workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, including presenting creative work, performance insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Strong awareness of emerging trends, platform evolution, and culturally relevant moments, with a proactive approach to staying current on shifts shaping consumer behavior and creative best practices
  • Actively explores and leverages AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance creative development, optimize workflows, and drive operational efficiency
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across Media, Design, Production, and Client Strategy teams
