About the Role


The Accounting Assistant supports the finance department by performing daily accounting tasks related to production, inventory, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate processing of financial transactions, assists with cost accounting, and helps maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards within a manufacturing setting.


Responsibilities


  • Assist with daily general ledger entries and journal entries
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist in performing account reconciliations
  • Ensure that all financial practices adhere to legal standards and regulations, including tax compliance.
  • Assist in tracking materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
  • Support inventory counts and reconciliation processes
  • Help monitor manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead
  • Prepare reports on production costs, inventory levels, and financial performance
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Support audits by providing required documentation


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 + years in accounting field


Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)


Skills and Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills


Language Skills

  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required.
