Job description

This client in the robotics space is hiring an engineer who can focus on designing and implementing advanced vision solutions for robotic systems, utilizing a range of cutting-edge technologies, including AI, machine learning, and sensor integration. This is a full time opportunity that is onsite north of Boston, MA. 
Required Skills & Experience
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or related discipline
  • Extensive professional programming experience in modern languages such as Python, C++, or Rust
  • Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing perception algorithms for robotic or automated systems
  • Skilling in applying both classical and machine learning approaches for image processing, classification, depth measurement, and structure analysis
  • Proficient with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch), computer vision libraries (OpenCV, PCL, Open3D, CUDA), and sensor fusion techniques.
  • Familiarity with multiple depth sensing modalities, including LiDAR, stereo vision, and time-of-flight
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Background deploying vision systems in operational robotic platforms
  • Understanding of robotic control systems, automation standards, and interface protocols
  • Experience using robotic simulation environments (Isaac Sim, Gazebo)
  • Knowledge of ROS2 development
