Community Care Network is seeking 3rd Per Diem shifts for a Crisis Recovery Specialist to support individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges!
Community Care Network is comprised of Rutland Mental Health Services and Rutland Community Programs. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of our communities, individuals and families through responsive, innovative and collaborative human services.
About the Role:
The Crisis Recovery Specialist will provide support to individuals living with chronic mental illness and/or substance use disorders in a recovery-based trauma sensitive residential facility. The Crisis Recovery Specialist will support therapeutic programming, share meals with the clients, facilitate medication compliance, all while building strong, meaningful connections!
This position is great for students or those who want to further their experience in the human service industry. We are looking for staff who can assist in motivating and encouraging individuals toward integration into the community.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion, sensitivity, and reasoning skills.
  • Able to communicate directly, respectfully, and clearly.
  • Ability to develop a nurturing relationship with clients.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
  • *Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to work 3rd shift from 10:45pm-7:15am
