Join us as a Per Diem Dietary Aide
Per Diem - 5 shifts per month (2 of those shifts must be on the weekend) plus holiday rotation.
Shifts include 2pm - 7pm, 10:30am-7pm and 6:00am - 2:30pm
As a Dietary Aide at MiraVista in Holyoke, MA you will assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
  • Work with the facility's dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
  • Follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
  • Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Clean work areas and refrigerators/freezers, etc.
  • Set up meals, food carts, unit pantries etc. as instructed.
  • Assist cook in preparing snacks, sandwiches, tossed salads, fruit salad.
  • Deliver/serve food to designated units. Stock unit pantries, nursing stations, water and fruit area.
  • Perform dish washing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensil, etc., are readily available for next meal.

Successful Dietary Aide candidates will have the following:
  • Education/Training: High school education preferred.
  • Basic reading and writing skills preferred.
  • Job Knowledge/Experience
  • Preferred: Previous experience in food service
  • Preferred: Language/Writing/Communication

Pay Range
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience.
$17.50-$19.27
