Salary: $30.00 - $33.00

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:


  • Execute on the clients care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
  • Provide Delegations of Task or other training to a care team.
  • Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendation on complex care plans
  • Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practising safely and competently within the job description
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Nursing tasks include medication administration, wound care, head to toe assessment, vitals signs, pain assessment, liaising with physicians, diabetic management.
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
  • Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
  • Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
  • Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
  • Service community nursing or facility staffing in BURNABY, NEW WESTMINSTER, & TRI-CITIES


REQUIREMENTS:


  • You have to be COMPASSIONATE, KIND CARING & MAKING A DIFFERENCE in the life of a senior!
  • Loves to care for others
  • Driver's license and a vehicle is an asset but not a requirement
  • Negative TB Test
  • Valid First Aide/CPR
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • Valid LPN License
  • Hospital, home care and palliative care experience is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills. Other languages an asset.
