Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry

Employment Type: Per Diem | Day & Night Shifts | Halifax, VA

Position Requirements

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • An active Registered Nurse license in Virginia
  • A minimum of one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the last two years
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • A completed QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
  • COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption

Additional credentials may be necessary depending on the specialty and facility assignment.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital environment
  • Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and their responses to treatments
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician orders
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment as needed

  • Adhere to hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols
