Responsibilities
The Per Diem RN II is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.
Job Title: Per Diem RN II- Clinical Per Diem
Location: West Grand Parkway
Department: Clinical Per Diem
Job Type: Per Diem
Salary Range: $47.99 - $48.01(Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in nursing
Experience
Required: 3 years of RN experience
Preferred: N/A
License(s)
Required: Valid and current Texas RN license
Preferred: N/A
Special Skills
Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen
administration and intravenous therapy.
CRT experience
Preferred: Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned.
Windows bases computer skills.
Other
Required: Current BLS through American Heart Association
5 shifts per month
3 shifts per year the day before or after a clinic holiday, with minimum of 1 shift related to a winter holiday.
Able to travel within a selected region
Preferred: ACLS
