Key Responsibilities

As a Senior LCSW, you will play an integral role in delivering top-notch clinical services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools to gauge patients’ mental health needs accurately.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices, ensuring each client receives the most effective care possible.

• Collaborating seamlessly with a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging in case discussions with psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurse practitioners to ensure holistic care.
• Participating in peer review meetings and case consultations, contributing insights that elevate the quality of care across the team.
• Educating patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options available, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily involve patients facing complex emotional challenges related to terminal illnesses and palliative care needs. You will work closely with families, recognizing the profound impact that mental health support has in conjunction with physical health during challenging times.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid foundation of academic expertise.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Pennsylvania, confirming your qualifications and commitment to ethical practice.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy, showcasing your proficiency in addressing diverse mental health issues.
