• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history and corresponding mental health needs, establishing baseline data for treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that specifically address both addiction and any underlying mental health considerations, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques drawn from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other established modalities to support client progress.
• Actively collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide integrated care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s health and recovery are managed collaboratively.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, engaging them in the recovery process to enhance overall treatment outcomes and promote sustained recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with regulations, ensuring compliance with local laws and organizational policies.

This role directly supports individuals struggling with substance use disorders, often complicated by co-occurring mental health conditions. Therapists are expected to be both understanding and responsive to the unique challenges faced by clients, offering them tools and strategies needed for effective recovery. • A current and valid license as either an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Prior specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with a proven ability to motivate and engage clients towards recovery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with proficiency in teamwork and collaboration.

• Experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting or related field.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
• Certification or specialized training in integrated care frameworks or trauma-informed care practices.
