OverviewThe Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Emergency Radiologist to provide remote evening and/or weekend coverage. The selected candidate will work remotely alongside other attending radiologists and residents, providing coverage for the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

  • Flexible 4–8 hour shifts on weekday evenings from 5:00 PM–12:00 AM and weekends from 8:00 AM–9:00 PM.
  • Opportunity to extend hours based on availability and departmental needs.
  • Option to interpret outpatient and inpatient cases (in addition to ED cases).
  • Clinical Responsibilities
  • Interpret body and chest CT, ultrasound, and radiographs for the Emergency Department. Basic MRI is a plus but not required.
  • No neuroradiology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, or mammography responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology.
  • Eligible for or currently holding a New York State medical license 
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, high-efficiency environment 
  • Competitive starting hourly rate of $350.00 per hour or commensurate with experience.
