Job description

Join our dynamic Hospital & Health Care team as a Remote Data Entry Specialist, where your accuracy and attention to detail will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work from anywhere while supporting critical health operations through precise data management.

As a key member of our data management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of patient records and healthcare information, ensuring seamless workflows and compliance with industry standards.

Key Objectives
  • Accurately input and update patient and medical data into electronic health record systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Support clinical and administrative teams by providing timely and reliable data entry services.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies to maintain high-quality records.
Responsibilities
  • Enter patient information, medical histories, test results, and billing details into designated databases.
  • Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive health information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguous or incomplete data.
  • Perform routine data audits and report inconsistencies or errors to the appropriate department.
  • Manage multiple data entry tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Utilize various software tools and platforms to streamline data entry processes.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data management or healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry, preferably within the healthcare or hospital industry.
  • Strong typing skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare terminology.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and comfortable learning new software.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
