Job description

JOB LOCATION - Wilkes-Barre General Hospital - Per Diem (8 hrs/week)

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, Pharmacy Supervisors, Technician Supervisor, or Registered Pharmacist in charge, the Pharmacy Technician I assists in providing pharmaceutical care to all patients

Position Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Courses in mathematics necessary, typing and medical terminology helpful. Up to six (6) months on-the-job training is provided.

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

Verbal and written communication skills; independent thinking/sound judgment, manual and finger dexterity.
