Job description:
MUST BE A LICENSED NURSE PRACTITIONER IN THE STATE OF HAWAII. We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our telemedicine team in remotely. This role involves providing comprehensive video telemedicine services to weight loss clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in GLP weight loss medications, including symptom management with proficiency in charting electronic health record (EHR) systems. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with the healthcare clinic to deliver high-quality virtual care while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. This position offers flexibility to support a variety of patient needs in outpatient and post-acute care settings.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations using telehealth platforms.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans across multiple specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, pain management, and infectious disease care.
  • Manage medication administration and monitor patient responses; provide health coaching and education tailored to patient needs.
  • Document all clinical encounters accurately within EMR system.
