Job Summary:
Performs all aspects of perinatal ultrasound. Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams for subsequent interpretation by perinatologist and for procedures requiring ultrasound aid. Demonstrates service excellence in all interactions and EHMC employees throughout the Medical Center will use behaviors and interpersonal communication styles that are appropriate for a hospital environment and demonstrate courtesy, dignity and respect. G.R.E.A.T will be used for all patient interactions to enhance the patient experience.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
  • Minimum one year of experience in fetal ultrasound
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology
  • Works well with other members of the team in a cooperative and professional manner.

Education Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • One year training in diagnostic ultrasound in a program approved by ARDMS

Licensure, Registrations, and Certifications:
  • RDMS required or eligible. If RDMS eligible must have RDMS certification within the allotted time frame designated by the AIUM
  • RDCS (AE FE) certified in Fetal Echocardiography

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
