Tampa General Hospital is seeking a per diem / prn CT Technologist for a per diem / prn job in Crystal River, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements

The Pool CT Tech 2 is responsible for performing CT and radiographic imaging to obtain high-quality imaging for physician interpretation and patient care. This role supports accurate diagnosis and treatment by maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, image quality, and efficient workflow. This position requires the use of independent judgment, critical thinking, and technical expertise to apply appropriate imaging techniques and optimize imaging results. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, verifying accurate patient identification, and confirming that all studies are appropriately ordered prior to examination. All procedures are performed in alignment with Tampa General Hospitals’ mission, vision, values, policies, and regulatory standards 
 

Education

  • Technical Program for Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy or related therapy

  • Licensed In the State of Florida as Radiology Technologist

Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)

  • ARRT 

Work Experience and Additional Information

  • One (1) year of experience performing diagnostic imaging in clinical setting.
