Job description

HI! I'm Dylan, one of the engineering managers at EnsoData and we are looking for another great teammate passionate about Making Healthcare Better. This hybrid position in Madison, WI offers a competitive salary of $145,000 to $150,000 along with bonus program, stock options and generous benefits, including paid time off.

The Full Stack Engineer is a fundamental part of the EnsoData technology team, taking ownership of critical systems spanning the full application, from the API, data pipelines, and other key backend infrastructure to customer-facing application interfaces. The person in this role will design, develop, test, and deploy updates to the EnsoSleep application end to end, including the API, data processing pipelines, the EnsoSleep Customer Dashboard, and internal system monitoring dashboards.

Responsibilities include, but are no limited to...

  • Build and maintain EnsoData's interoperability interface by increasing breadth and depth of integrations, adding valuable new features, and maintaining documentation and test coverage
  • Design and build customizable report generation templates
  • Build and maintain the EnsoSleep Customer Dashboard and internal dashboards for monitoring services vital to the customer
  • Investigate and correct the root cause of interoperability, backend, and UI issues by working closely with product and Customer Success teams to gather information

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science
  • Healthcare technology experience is a bonus
  • Experience using AI tools in a design, development, or product workflows

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design and architectural decisions effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong experience using AI tools to support research, ideation, development and documentation in daily work.
  • Strong Typescript experience with React.js experience.
  • Strong Python experience with frameworks like Flask, Django.
  • SQL (Postgresql) and NoSQL(Mongo) experience.
  • Experience with HL7 and FHIR data exchanges.
