What is a per diem executive protection professional?

Per Diem Executive Protection professionals are security specialists hired on an as-needed, daily basis to provide personal protection for individuals such as executives, celebrities, or high-profile figures. Unlike full-time security staff, they are brought in for specific assignments or events where heightened security is required. Their responsibilities include assessing risks, planning secure routes, and ensuring the safety of their clients during travel, meetings, or public appearances. Per diem work offers flexibility for both the employer and the protection agent, allowing for tailored security solutions without long-term commitments.

How does a per diem executive protection professional typically integrate with a client's existing security team during assignments?

Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills are key to ensuring seamless protection and maintaining the client’s trust.

Proficiency with communication devices, security systems, and protective driving techniques is essential. Exceptional situational awareness, discretion, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills help you stand out in this role. These skills and qualities are crucial to ensure client safety, maintain confidentiality, and effectively respond to dynamic security threats.
