Job description

Diagnostic Radiologist – Per Diem

The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is recruiting a per diem diagnostic radiologist to work at University Hospital and/or satellite facilities. The successful applicant will read a full spectrum of radiology services, including General Radiography, CT, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic imaging services across all modalities.
  • Interpret and report findings from General Radiography, CT, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine studies.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and maintain high-quality patient care standards.
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, MSK, or Body Imaging is desired; demonstrated experience covering diagnostic radiology is acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in at least one of the following: General Radiography, CT, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine.
  • Knowledge of the following platforms: GE PACS, PowerScribe 360, EPIC.
Compensation

Salary: $225–$400 per hour, determined by qualifications, experience, and departmental funding.
