Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking Board Certified Neonatologists to join our collaborative and high-performing team on a per diem basis at Southeast Health and Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. This is your chance to practice in a supportive, flexible environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance and clinical excellence.

• No minimum requirement: as a per diem provider, there is a 0 hours requirement
• Prime Location: Just an hour from the Emerald Coast beaches, with a low cost of living and a welcoming Southern community.
• Supplemental Income: supplement your income working a few shifts per month, when available

• Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists and 3 NNPs
  • NNPs cover day shifts 7 days/week and 2 night shifts
• Flexible Scheduling: Pick up shifts when they work for you!
• Facility Details:
  • 18-bed Level III NICU at Southeast Health and Level II NICU at Flowers Hospital
  • 30 LDRP beds and 20-bed Newborn Nursery at Southeast Health
  • NICU ADC: 11 at Southeast Health and 2-3 at Flowers
  • Regional transport team staffed by RNs and RTs

• Active AL license or IMLC license preferred
• Board Certification in Neonatology required
• A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required
• Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months)

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
