Job description

Clinical Content Analyst

Clinical Architecture is seeking a Clinical Content Analyst in the Indianapolis, IN area to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing standards-based structured content offerings that complement our world class software solutions.

  • This role is based on-site at our Carmel, IN Headquarters, five days a week. While we are an in-office organization, we do our best to offer flexibility when needed, ensuring both work-life balance and uninterrupted business operations.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities involve usage of proprietary software to perform the following:

  • Development and maintenance of value sets, rule-based logic, ontologies, term mappings, and other content assets.
  • Management of periodic publication processes.
  • Adhere to, improve upon, and/or define editorial policies and standard operating procedures.

Secondary responsibilities may include the following, depending on skillset:

  • Assist clients with implementation and services delivery.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise and thought leadership to the industry through marketing and consultative sales activities.
  • Engage with clients and/or prospects (with occasional travel if desired and justified as a business need).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree (e.g., Bachelor of Science).
  • 1 year of professional working experience in clinical lab, clinical research, clinical pharmacy, and/or direct clinical practice.
  • Proficiency in at least one standard healthcare terminology/coding system (e.g., RxNorm, LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD-10-CM, CPT).
  • Analytical mindset with strong logical reasoning skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Preferred:

  • Graduate educational degree: RN, BSN, MSN, PharmD.
  • Work experience in applied health IT implementing standard healthcare terminologies.
  • Certification or degree in health informatics related field.
