Recovery Support Specialist

Pay:$16.00-$18.00/hour

Schedule:Per-Diem (as needed) includes weekends

As a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) at Recovery Centers of America (RCA), you will be an integral part of the patient care team, providing direct support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders. Your role is vital in ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment where patients can focus on their recovery journey.

As a Recovery Support Specialist at RCA, you will:

  • Monitor and supportpatient activities, ensuring safety through regular checks and observations.
  • Engage directlywith patients,facilitatingtherapeutic interactions, group sessions, and scheduled activities.
  • Assistwith admissions and discharges, includingprocessingbelongings, documentation, and patient orientation.
  • Support crisis interventionthrough verbal de-escalation and against-advice interventions.
