Job description

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!


  • Responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed.
  • Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
  • Keep work area organized
  • Work with outside contractors and vendors as required
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Other production related tasks as needed
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks; i.e.: forklifts; scissor lift and boom lift
  • Candidate must have general equipment maintenance experience and references
  • May be exposed to all weather conditions
  • Must maintain a high level of safety consciousness and follow Company policies
  • Ability to climb ladders, bend, twist, reach, lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights
  • Self-motivated, able to effectively manage time and deadlines as well as work without close supervision
  • Ability to read and write English in order to process work orders- some computer use may also be required
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Experience with total productive maintenance
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodology
  • Must have valid driver’s license and meet Company requirements to drive a company vehicle when needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to occasionally work in a loud environment
  • Once properly trained with equipment, safely and regularly lift/carry or push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • Able to be on your feet all day and wear safety shoes and other PPE
  • High School Diploma or GED Preferred
