TDHCA is initiating a project to implement the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System ("CAPPS") version of PeopleSoft Financials ("CAPPS Financials") as a Hub agency, which means that TDHCA will install the latest version of CAPPS Financials (PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, PeopleTools 8.55.11, with State of Texas modifications included) in TDHCA's server environment and interface with Office of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts ("CPA") systems. TDHCA currently uses the State of Texas version of PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 and PeopleTools 8.49. As part of the agency's CAPPS Financials project, TDHCA will migrate data from 8.8 to 9.2 and reimplement TDHCA-specific modifications in 9.2.

The person hired into the PeopleSoft Financials Technical Consultant position will perform the following services in support of the project:

         Perform analysis, programming services, system and report development and enhancements, interface development, and data migration in support of the TDHCA CAPPS Financials 9.2 implementation.

         This includes software development in PeopleCode, PeopleTools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL, COBOL, and Oracle.

         Communicate with effective, high quality writing skills and work well in a project team environment, with a polite, positive attitude and a focus on customer service.

         Perform other reasonable services as necessary to ensure that the project can be successfully carried out.

II.                  WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
