The Role

You will serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping pricing and monetization strategy across cloud-based, AI-enabled, and digital product portfolios. Operating at a consulting level, this role applies broad technical and business expertise to develop scalable monetization frameworks, guide complex pricing decisions, and influence cross-functional strategy. You will lead advanced analytics, financial modeling, and strategic recommendations that inform executive decision-making and support value-driven growth.

The Main Responsibilities

- Lead the development of complex pricing strategies for cloud, AI, and platform-based products, including consumption, subscription, tiered, token-based, and hybrid models.
- Design and evolve monetization frameworks that align pricing architecture to usage, value realization, customer outcomes, and long-term business strategy.
- Identify, evaluate, and guide new revenue opportunities tied to AI-enabled capabilities, data services, APIs, cloud ecosystems, and partner-driven models.
- Serve as a recognized subject-matter expert in cloud and AI monetization, advising stakeholders on best practices, tradeoffs, risks, and scalable commercialization approaches.
- Build, own, and refine complex pricing and business models for consumption-based, subscription, platform, and outcome-based offerings.
- Evaluate unit economics, including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, margin profile, usage behavior, and scalability of cloud-native and AI-enabled offerings.
- Apply advanced analytics, market benchmarks, and scenario modeling to guide pricing decisions, investment tradeoffs, and future product monetization opportunities.
- Partner with product, engineering, finance, sales, marketing, and go-to-market leaders to align pricing strategy with product architecture, customer value, and delivery models.
- Translate complex technical capabilities, including AI models, APIs, cloud infrastructure, data services, and marketplace integrations, into commercially viable monetization constructs.
- Influence roadmap decisions, investment priorities, and governance discussions through data-driven insights, market intelligence, and executive-ready recommendations.
- Deliver executive-ready insights, business cases, and strategic recommendations that clearly connect pricing decisions to financial impact, customer value, and growth objectives.
- Present monetization strategies, financial scenarios, and decision points for cloud and AI offerings to senior leadership and governance forums.
- Clearly articulate pricing tradeoffs, risks, assumptions, and recommendations to support alignment across technical, financial, and commercial stakeholders.

What We Look For in a Candidate

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience; advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of related experience in pricing, monetization strategy, financial analysis, product analytics, cloud economics, or commercial strategy
- Significant experience developing pricing or monetization strategies for cloud platforms, SaaS models, AI-enabled products, APIs, or digital ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of consumption-based pricing, usage metering, API monetization, value-based pricing, and customer segmentation.
- Advanced proficiency with financial modeling, SQL, Python, BI tools, and analytics methods used to evaluate pricing performance, unit economics, and market opportunities.
- Strong executive communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across senior technical, financial, and commercial audiences.
- Ability to quickly ramp into senior leadership-level pricing initiatives, understand strategic priorities, and contribute immediately to high-impact workstreams with limited onboarding.

Preferred 
- Experience with cloud ecosystems, including hyperscalers, marketplaces, ISVs, platform integrations, and partner-led commercialization models.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data monetization strategies, cloud infrastructure economics, and emerging digital business models.
- Experience guiding complex initiatives in large, matrixed organizations and influencing without direct authority.
- Telecommunications, enterprise technology, cloud, SaaS, or B2B platform pricing experience.

Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
