Salary range (but not limited to):

118,700 - 145,100

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We are currently seeking a Manager - Consolidation & Special Projects to join our Corporate Finance team. In this key role, you will contribute directly to the organization's growth by leading high-impact financial initiatives and strengthening the quality of consolidated financial information provided to senior management and external stakeholders.


You will play a central role in identifying, prioritizing, and delivering complex initiatives (acquisitions, transformation, optimization), while providing occasional support for disclosure and close activities based on business priorities. This position requires strong corporate finance expertise-particularly in management reporting, consolidation, and financial disclosure-as well as a demonstrated ability to mobilize teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Director, Group Consolidation, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, structuring, and deploying process improvement and automation opportunities, leveraging technology and AI to increase efficiency and improve the quality, reliability, and timeliness of financial information available to senior leadership.
  • Leading and executing complex, cross-functional finance projects (e.g., finance transformation, process optimization, implementation of new IFRS standards, acquisitions, integration), ensuring clear governance, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Supporting the Consolidation and Financial information teams with special transactions, progress on their respective projects, and, as needed, quarterly close activities.
  • Contributing to the evolution of the internal control environment by participating in initiatives aimed at strengthening the robustness, documentation, and effectiveness of controls.
  • Coordinating audit work related to transformation initiatives with external auditors.
  • Working closely with various finance departments to deliver your mandate.
  • Coaching and developing team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance.
  • Support the Director (or leadership) with any ad hoc requests and special projects, as needed.

Requirements

  • CPA designation
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, particularly in consolidation and financial disclosure
  • Knowledge of IFRS (an asset)
  • Experience in a public company and/or the insurance sector, within an international, multi-currency environment (an asset)
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex finance projects (transformation, integration, optimization, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, strong prioritization, and attention to detail
  • Proven leadership, team spirit, autonomy, and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Agility and ability to learn quickly
  • Bilingual French/English required (written and spoken)
  • Microsoft Office: intermediate/advanced
  • Experience with ERP and consolidation/disclosure tools (e.g., Oracle, Workiva)
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools (an asset).
