MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Medical Technologist, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your responsibilities will include analyzing samples, interpreting results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Responsibilities for a Medical Technologist:
  • Conduct laboratory tests on specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Analyze test results and report findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret data and provide clinical correlation.
Requirements for a Medical Technologist:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) ( preferred , but not required).
  • NYS License.
