Pelsis develops and markets leading equipment and product brands for the commercial and retail pest control market across the globe. SUMMARY:

The Regional Account Manager supports and drives day-to-day sales and marketing activities across all Pelsis brands within an assigned U.S. territory. This role is responsible for revenue growth and new customer acquisition through direct selling, prospecting, account development, and execution of the Pelsis commercial strategy. Working closely with Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams, the Regional Account Manager manages territory development, conduct product demonstrations and training, maintains strong customer relationships, and represents the company at customer sites, exhibitions, and business events. The position requires strong organizational, selling, and customer-facing skills, along with the ability to independently manage priorities while collaborating across functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all Pelsis product lines, applications, and customer use cases.
  • Identify, prospect, and close new Pest Control Operator accounts within the assigned territory to develop pull through demand via distribution.
  • Generate new business within the assigned territory to meet and exceed assigned revenue goals through strategic planning, relationship building, and new customer development initiatives.
  • Own and deliver an annual sales quota for the assigned territory.
  • Build, maintain, and execute a qualified sales pipeline (maintained in CRM) sufficient to consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits, product training, and solution-based selling.
  • Support and execute new product launches within assigned territory.
  • Attend, coordinate, and execute regional and national showcases, exhibitions, and events as prescribed by the company.
  • Produce weekly and monthly activity reports and maintain accurate documentation of pipeline, territory plans, account updates and achievement of budget.
  • Analyze and interpret business data by brand, sector, channel, or product; translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support Marketing with research on competitor and market information to support strategic decisions and territory planning.
  • Support national and strategic account initiatives by coordinating field execution, account penetration, and opportunity coverage within the assigned territory. Work cross-functionally with internal colleagues including Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Marketing to support customer needs and execution of the sales plan.
  • Perform additional duties and support other projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of B2B field sales experience, demonstrated success in new customer acquisition and territory growth. Pest control industry experience is a plus. Demonstrated experience in sales, territory management, and/or account management.
  • Ability to build customer relationships and consistently meet performance goals.
  • Strong presentation, training, and communication skills, including comfort speaking to large groups.
  • Ability to interpret sales results and business metrics to guide territory decisions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, travel regularly within assigned territory, and represent the Pelsis brand professionally.
  • Perform additional duties and support other projects as assigned.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequent travel within the assigned territory, including travel to customer locations, trade shows, exhibitions, and company offices.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer for reporting, territory planning, and customer communications.
  • Frequent use of hands/fingers for typing and operating standard office equipment and mobile devices.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during customer visits and events.
  • Occasional lifting of product samples or materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining customer responsiveness and meeting deadlines.
