Job description

Position Summary:

PELOTON Workforce is seeking qualified candidates on behalf of our client for a Plant Controller / Financial Analyst position located in Reynolds, Indiana.

This role is responsible for driving financial performance and providing meaningful financial analysis within a manufacturing facility. The Plant Controller/Financial Analyst will partner closely with plant leadership to support data-driven decision-making, improve operational performance, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in manufacturing accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost accounting and analyze manufacturing costs.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Manage inventory accounting and reconciliation processes.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Analyze plant performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Partner with plant leadership to support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support special financial projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Approximately 2–5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with RedZone and Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
