Job description

Job Requirements

The Fire & Security Technician is skilled in programming, calibrating, inspecting, testing, and maintaining access control systems, CCTV, burglar alarms, and fire alarm installations within commercial properties.


Compensation

The expected pay range for this position is $22.78 - $32.54 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.


Stark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.


Work Experience
  • 1 year of experience with configuring, programming, and checking out security installations.
  • 1 year experience understanding access control and fire alarm wiring diagram ms and best practices.
  • 1 year experience with Access Control, CCTV, Burglar Alarm and Fire Alarm systems, especially AccessXpert, Pelco, Axis, VideoXpert, Security Expert, DMP, Notifier, Andover Continuum.
  • Strong Ethernet networking skills.
  • MS Office Suite experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Basic low voltage electrical testing skills FASA/BASA Certification.
  • Ability to travel extensively with a valid Driver's License
