About the Position
Southern Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric client in the home setting. This part-time position offers a consistent 26-hour-per-week schedule with a long-term opportunity. While the current authorization extends for approximately six months, the case is expected to be renewed, making this an excellent opportunity for a nurse seeking consistent hours and the chance to build a meaningful, lasting relationship with the child and family while providing exceptional, individualized care.

- Female Pediatric Client (DOB: 11/03/2021)
- Diagnosis: FoxG1 Syndrome
Schedule
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Total: 26 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled pediatric nursing care in the home
- G-tube care and feedings
- Medication administration
- Ongoing patient assessments and monitoring
- Assist with transfers and mobility using a mobility chair
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the family and healthcare team to ensure quality care
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Pediatric home health experience preferred
- G-tube experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and family-centered approach to care
- Must be able to safely lift and assist a 5-year-old child (approximately 30–40 lbs.), including transferring the client in and out of a mobility chair and providing physical assistance with daily mobility needs.
