Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) Hiring

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is now hiring for full-time positions for the site located in Fletcher, NC

The basic function of the forklift operator is operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries such as carriers and housing components. They also move carrier and housing components to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.

18.00 - 19.00hr! Weekly Pay!

$100.00 Retention bonus after 30 days and again after 60 days of employment!

Responsibilities:

  • Know how to properly inspect the forklift.
  • Demonstrates use of controls and uses the seatbelt.
  • Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as carrier and housing components.
  • Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
  • Checking loads are secure
  • Stacking empty pallets
  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truckโ€™s battery and lubricating equipment
  • Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
  • Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Dumping materials into machine hoppers
  • Affirms knowledge of lift truck Moving and Stacking guidelines.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Identify and record any product, process, and quality system problems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to all equipment.
  • Perform safety and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate actively in the team to achieve team goals.

Training and Skills:

  • Must understand and be able to use basic math, fractions, basic algebra, decimals, and metrics
  • Industrial experience with forklift operating experience
  • Be able to lift 20-40 lbs
  • Work overtime including every other weekend
