JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Political Science] is seeking applicants for part-time job of Loyle Sanchez Part Time Research Assistant.
Job duties to include:
  • The RAs will be contacting international and Colombian organizations active in the peacebuilding aid networks collected in a previous data effort. The RAs will be contacting organizations located at the end of the reported chain of aid delivery to gather information on a) the locations of the project implementation sites, b) any additional organizations in the chain of aid delivery (final recipients) not captured in the reported data, and c) characteristics of the relationship between organizations (e.g. the degree of involvement of local partners). The appointment is expected to start January 2026 and end by the end before the end of the Spring 2026 semester.

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
An ideal candidate would have contextual knowledge of the aid system in Colombia and of research design principles.
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $15.00/hour, at 10 hours/week, for about 80 hours total.
