Located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, Playground is an internationally renowned gaming and entertainment destination currently undergoing a major expansion. Schedule:
Full-Time: 5:00AM to 1:00PM, 1:00PM to 9:00PM, 9:00PM to 5:00AM
Must be available weekends

Responsibilities:

  • The Face of Safety: Greet and assist guests with professional flair while managing access control, including ID verification and bag inspections.
  • Dynamic Patrols: Maintain a high-profile presence across interior and exterior areas through regular patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Conflict Resolution: Apply effective de-escalation techniques when needed to maintain the "vibe" of the floor. Identify, address, and report suspicious activity, disturbances, or policy violations. Respond promptly to incidents, including removals when required, while maintaining professionalism and composure at all times.
  • Collaborative Security: Work closely with team members via radio and coordinate with local Peacekeepers when necessary.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a first responder for First Aid or CPR situations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all guests meet legal standards and adhere to company policies to keep our environment safe and fair.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous security experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French is a strong asset
  • Must be 25 years of age or older
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (strong asset)
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical interventions when required
  • Flexibility required for shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required
  • Martial arts or defensive tactics experience is considered a strong asset

Responsabilités :

  • Incarner la sécurité : accueillir et assister les invités avec professionnalisme tout en assurant le contrôle d’accès, incluant la vérification des pièces d’identité et les fouilles de sacs
  • Patrouilles dynamiques : maintenir une présence visible à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur afin d’assurer un environnement sécuritaire et contrôlé
  • Gestion des conflits : appliquer des techniques de désescalade efficaces afin de maintenir une ambiance positive sur le plancher, tout en identifiant et en signalant toute activité suspecte, perturbation ou infraction aux politiques, et en intervenant lorsque nécessaire avec professionnalisme et maîtrise de soi
  • Sécurité collaborative : travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe via radio et coordonner avec les Peacekeepers locaux lorsque requis
  • Intervention d’urgence : agir comme premier répondant en cas de situations nécessitant les premiers soins ou la RCR
  • Conformité réglementaire : s’assurer que tous les invités respectent les normes légales et les politiques de l’entreprise afin de maintenir un environnement sécuritaire et équitable

Exigences :

  • Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en sécurité
  • Excellentes compétences en communication en anglais ; le français est un atout important
  • Âge minimum : 25 ans
  • Certification valide en premiers soins et RCR (fort atout)
  • Excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles, en résolution de conflits et en résolution de problèmes
  • Capacité à rester calme et professionnel en situation de stress
  • Capacité physique à rester debout pendant de longues périodes et à intervenir physiquement au besoin
  • Disponibilité pour horaires variables incluant tôt le matin, soir, week-ends et jours fériés selon les besoins opérationnels
  • Expérience en arts martiaux ou en techniques de défense (fort atout)
