ADA Application Specialist (Accessibility Compliance)

Remote

Contract through April 2026 | Full-time contract

One of our public sector clients is seeking an ADA Application Specialist to support accessibility compliance initiatives across a portfolio of web-based applications. This role plays a key part in helping applications meet ADA and Section 508 accessibility standards ahead of an April 2026 compliance deadline.

You will work with existing applications (both public-facing and internal), reviewing accessibility, documenting findings, and supporting remediation efforts. Training, tools, and guidance are provided โ€” prior experience with internal or government-specific systems is not required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Review and test web-based applications for ADA and Section 508 accessibility compliance
  • Identify accessibility issues and clearly document findings and severity
  • Support remediation by making recommendations to development teams or executing fixes when appropriate
  • Validate work completed by developers to ensure accessibility standards are met
  • Work across a variety of applications, including form-based tools and GIS-related platforms
  • Use approved accessibility testing tools such as WAVE, ANDI, Accessibility Insights (web and desktop), NVDA, PDF Accessibility Checker, and Evinced
  • Follow established testing and remediation procedures
  • Track progress, log results, and communicate updates with the team
  • Support additional applications or teams as bandwidth allows

What we're looking for:

  • Experience testing web applications or digital content for accessibility
