Schedule:
Tuesday to Friday from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Starting Pay Range:
$19.50 - $22.00 per hour
Where a candidate falls within the pay range will vary based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, education, skills and experience.
The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various production equipment. Primary responsibilities include operating packaging equipment including case packers, case sealers, case erectors and palletizers. This position works closely with other team members to keep the line running efficiently while producing high-quality products. Other responsibilities include monitoring supply levels, inspecting products for defects, completing appropriate documentation, as well as completing cleaning and light maintenance duties. The Machine Operator will assist on other areas of the line as needed.
All team members are required to perform their job responsibilities in a safe and conscious manner. Contributing to and supporting an environment of teamwork and continues improvement is also required.
This position requires the ability to read and write English, basic math skills, the ability to use a computer and correspond effectively via email. Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability are also required. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience. previous machine operating experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but no required.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this positions are as follows and are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions in a safe manner.
  • Must be a able to stand for up to 10+ hours per day with intermittent breaks.
  • Must be able to move throughout the facility and between various production lines regularly.
  • Ability to position self to bend, twist squat, kneel and crouch.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and persistence in completing tasks under time constraints.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally climb stairs to navigate from one line to another.
  • Ability to frequently grasp objects.
  • Frequently reach above shoulders and/or head throughout shift.
